Service Rate Deadlines

David Richardson, Associate Vice Chancellor for Research, provided an update on service rates.  The deadline to upload rates to the Service Rate Database is March 31, 2020.  SPA is providing training for uploading service rates Jan 16th, Feb 5th, Mar 3rd and Mar 27th.  Register for sessions at the OBFS Training website. Due to policy, the deadline for recalculating rates is Mar 31, 2022.

Foreign Influence

Kathy Gentry, Export Compliance Officer, presented a matrix showing how to manage foreign influence when dealing with various areas across campus.  The matrix can be found here.

Student Travel

A new tool has been created to help users decide how student travel and corresponding effort should be expensed to sponsored programs. It can be found here.
